“Therefore I tell you: Don’t worry about your life… Look at the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they?” (Matthew 6:25–26)
We live in a world where everything tries to pull us into stress — bills, relationships, expectations, the unknown future. But Jesus gently reminds us: Do not worry. Not because life is easy, but because God is faithful.
When Jesus spoke these words, He was speaking to hearts just like ours — hearts that feel heavy, confused, overwhelmed, or afraid. He was not saying to ignore our responsibilities. He was saying to shift our focus:
From fear → to faithFrom control → to trustFrom striving → to resting in Him
God is not distant. He is your Father. And a Father provides.
The birds don’t have business plans or savings accounts, yet God feeds them. The flowers do not labor, yet God clothes them in beauty. And you are far more precious to Him than birds and flowers.
Your Father knows what you need.
When we worry, we start believing we are alone. But we are not. God is in your tomorrow just as He is in your today.
So how do we live this out?
Pray first. Bring your fears to God before you take them anywhere else.
Surrender what you can’t control. Release it into His hands, one deep breath at a time.
Move one step at a time. God leads by steps, not leaps. You only need enough faith for today.
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.” (Matthew 6:33)
And you don’t have to worry — because your Father is here.
